Alphagen Solution is used for the treatment of high fluid pressure and open angle glaucoma in eyes. The decrease of high fluid pressure reduces the risk of blindness, loss of vision and damage of nerves. The active ingredient of the solution is brimonidine tartare that works by decreasing the formation of fluid and allowing better fluid drainage from within the eye. It can be used for children above two years and adults. It comes as a colorless, clear solution in a dropper bottle allowing an easy application. The medicine is easy to use. Just apply one drop of the solution in the affected eye two to three times a day, or as prescribed by the doctor.
